Peggy and Ron Hoolsema, in consultation with Rick Ford, have discovered a very beneficial 12-minute stretching routine to use before practicing or playing a tennis match. It’s found on YouTube. It is called Foundation Training and is directed by Dr. Eric Goodman. Please take a look at the routine and decide if it is something you could incorporate into your pre-game routine. Stretching correctly can lead to a more limber body, ready for exercise and running around the court successfully. It can eliminate common injuries suffered by seniors, especially stiff back muscles or pulled calf muscles.
Be prepared to feel better and play better as a result!
