MRTC: First, keep up the prayers and positive thoughts that rain won’t dampen or cancel this event. Sam (the Band) is asking that a tent canopy be on hand in case there is a passing shower. Does anyone have one? If so, contact me (Diane) ASAP at 651-235-1604.
The event starts in the tennis Skybox parking lot and street at 4 pm with Catherine DeGrandpre spinning fun dance music. Sam will play from 5-8 pm. Marcos Pizza will be in the Skybox selling pizza by the slice. Your choice will be pepperoni, pepperoni, or pepperoni. I told them to keep it simple.
Donations to help pay the band will be very welcome. As in all street dances, bring a chair and BYOB.
If weather does cancel the event, plans are in place to postpone it one week. After that date, we won’t be able to. Again, keep up the prayers and positive vibes that rain won’t dampen our fun.
