MR North Tennis 2024
Hello all Mesa Regal tennis players,
We the committee of MR North Tennis want to wish you all the Best for 2024!
We are excited to be hosting the event for the 1st time.
There is a “Tentative date” for this upcoming years “MR North Tennis”
We are looking at June 17th meet & greet, tennis on 18th & 19th.
The courts are owned by the RDN, they do not start scheduling any fields, courts until mid to late January. We have been told we will be notified in February whether we have the courts.
At the moment we are assuming it will be a go, but will keep you posted as things progress.
We are arranging things so accommodation, tennis courts & dinner venue are all with in about 5 minutes drive of each other, or less depending how you drive.

If you love a walk on the Beach, 3 choices Parksville beach, short walk from accommodations. Rathtrevor Provincial Park (10 minute drive) Qualicum Beach (10-15 minute drive).

Ferries to the Island, options to get close to Parksville are:
Horseshoe Bay (West Vancouver) to Departure Bay (Nanaimo)

Vancouver (Tsawwassen) to Duke Point (Nanaimo)

Note: You can reserve a ferry time Or arrive at ferry & connect with next sailing. If no reservation, that time of year I like to be at ferry at least 1 hour before departure time.
Airports: south Nanaimo, Cassidy Airport (Driving 45 minutes to Parksville), OR Comox Airport ( Driving 1+ hours to Parksville.
Once we have everything figured out & confirmation of courts, we will forward the Registration form. As usual there will be a limited number of Spots available depending how many courts we are able to use.
